Isn't this bad for your mental health?

Maybe there should be a limit on how many times a streaming service can play the same commercial in a week?

I think the solution is to pay more, so you don't have to watch commercials at all.

I've never seen an advert that I'd expect to be bad for mental health no matter how often it gets shown, though I have seen some get banned for risks to physical health, e.g. Tango.

But I do think there's something very wrong with an ad provider deciding to show me *more* copies of an ad that I've reported — surely me reporting an advert is a strong signal that I'm not in the market? Even if the ad itself was legal (and I don't think the most recent two I've reported on YouTube were), at best the company getting advertised is getting ripped off by the place they're advertising in.

If it bothers you, you can pay for the ad free service.

Tubi TV doesn't have one.

Well if it's a TV, the most expedient way would be to turn off the device at the first sign of a repeated commercial. Could be effective in more ways than one. Especially when mental health is a consideration :)

Power back on 24 hours later and see if the problem persists ;)

If you are satisfied with ad infested Fred entertainment, you really have no right to complain that the ads suck.

Muting the TV during ads helps.
