I am ok.
I am healthy.
I make a shit ton of money.
I have a highly-skilled primary care doctor I've been seeing for two decades.
I am a domain expert who knows what it looks like when non-domain experts THINK they are experts in a domain they have no expertise in.
I know that I have no expertise in the health domain so I follow the directions of my physician (a highly-skilled domain expert) to the letter.
I know what "evidence based" means.
I know what a "p-value" is.
I know what "double blind" means.
I know what various cognitive biases are and even if I still fall prey to them on occasion I can recognize them.
I know Dr Oz and RFK Jr are full of shit so when they tell me to inject bleach and vitamins and stem cells into my penis to treat bird flu I know they are wrong.
I worry about everyone not as fortunate as I.
Dr Oz is an American boarded cardiovascular surgeon, who performed many complicated surgeries, including cardiac transplants. He received his undergraduate degree in biology magna cum laude at Harvard University. He obtained MD and MBA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and Penn's Wharton School. He completed his residency and fellowship at Columbia University.
Maybe you are so concerned because you get your information from MSM that is full of shit?

Dr. Oz IS THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
It is impossible for anyone, in any field, to be a domain expert, no matter what their experience or qualifications, if they spend the amount of time he does chasing fame and fortune on talk and news shows.
A domain expert must be immersed in their field constantly, not shooting their own show, appearing on Oprah twice per week, going on book tours, and running for office.
After throwing away all of his education and training and the lifetime of professional development needed just to stay current (nevermind get better) in order to pursue fame, a first year med student probably knows more about health than doctor fucking oz.
They didn't actually claim these people were stupid or lacked qualifications, just that they were "full of shit" and likely to give nonsensical medical advice, which they are all on record as having done.
So clearly their education and experience didn't stop them before, why do you think it will stop them now, when they've been hand picked to the job because of that previous bad advice?
> Harvard … Wharton … Columbia University…
No one is questioning Dr. Oz’s training credentials. They are questioning his willingness to promote remedies with no evidence base, because it may reveal a degree of venality, or at least susceptibility to influence in ways that are at odds with the standards of his profession, let alone those of public service.
Him being highly qualified in a specific narrow area doesn’t mean much besides that.
Ben Carson was also an extremely renowned neurosurgeon, also a complete nutjob…
